Coast to Coast Homes was set up to provide a better choice for quality and affordability for kitset homes in the South Island.

We are confident that we will deliver a cost saving compared to similar designs by competing manufacturers in the South Island, while still delivering good quality materials. Refer also to our inclusions list for a comparison of our value.

Our philosophy is to strive to provide affordable homes that look great, by keeping overheads low and providing personal service.

We realise that building a new home, especially by yourself, can be both fun and occasionally challenging, so we offer a full back-up service during construction.

Our relationship with our customers doesn't just stop with the delivery of materials, but continues during the building process. We are very happy to assist with advice where required.

The Process

We try to provide as much information on this website as we can, to assist you to make a decision on using our services. However, we encourage you to contact us either by using the Contact page or phoning us, should you wish for further information.

We are here to help, and to make you feel comfortable with dealing with us. As evidence of our competence, we can supply you with reference material on request.

The first step is to consider a plan for your new home. You most likely will either have seen a plan on our site that you like, or have spent some time yourself working on some ideas.

We can take either option and use our architectural designer to put the plan onto your site and create some 3D pictures, check town planning constraints, etc.

If there is work to be done to complete a concept plan, including your own ideas, a charge will apply (see Pricing). This covers the time to be spent by the designer working with you to tune the design to suit your requirements. This charge is refundable at the time you sign the contract for us to supply your new kitset home.

However, if one of our stock plans is chosen, no charge will apply at this stage.

If you then decide to move forward, after our pricing is acceptable, we would require a deposit be paid for materials to closed-in-stage.
